Wading on the Water

a 36x48" wood panel with 3" thick sided 

mixed media concoction on the surface of paint, water, alcohol, inks, soft pastels, spray paint, texture paste and gold metallic detailing. 

Layers of media were created and then picked up/pulled at to create depth and reveal moments from the layer beneath the one above it 

it weighs a good 8-12 lbs or so. The panel is sturdy and hefty but solid and of great quality. 

Hang it on two nails and allow the back frame of the panel to rest on the nail heads. this is the easiest way to hang without needing to attach a wire or a hanging mechanism to the art. You may also hang it within the studs If you are familiar with doing so. That is always the most ideal for heavy pieces.
