Restorated - 16x16 Resin Metal Art

16x16 resin artwork on wood panel with 1.5in thick sides and a copper metal strip splitting the two tones in half. A glass-like finish on the grey and a matte finish on the pearlescent marble. Different textures and reflections of light offer a duality of energies for a variety of spaces. The copper reaches around to the back where it is nailed into the panel frame. This hangs easily on a nail by allowing the back wood frame of the panel to rest on a nail head. I titled this “Restored,” part of my Intuitive Series. 5 layers of resin were used to get the pictured effects. The pictures cant possibly do justice on the detail of this seemingly simple piece. I’m very excited for its future owner to see it in person one day.
