textured past, layers of acrylic and some gold metallic slightly used to to add dimension and character to this piece 

It reminds me of something very serious and powerful. I named it Purgatory because it has a dark and bright aspect to it that I feel encapsulates the essence of what purgatory is and why we go there. Better yet, Is it a place or just a state of being?

Regardless, I enjoy the fine art quality about this piece. It's approx 2lbs tops and hangs on a nail/screw 

Not ideal for getting wet or being in humid temperatures
